PRF Injections

PRF Injections can be used in conjunction with dermal fillers or on its own. Adding PRF to Dermal Fillers maximizes their effects and longevity. PRF promotes collagen production while Dermal Fillers consist of Hyaluronic Acid, together they replace volume and prevent further loss through the aging process. Often used in the tear troughs, the combination lightens and lifts the under-eye, rolling back years of missed sleep. However there are many areas where we can use both PRF and Dermal Fillers.

On its own PRF promotes healing and can be injected directly into scars to reduce their appearance and can diminish scar sensitivity. PRF has also been used to restore hair loss!

What to Expect:

Healing time depends on the treatment area but is typically healed within 2 weeks. Bruising around injection sites is to be expected immediately after the procedure. Intermittent cool compresses can be applied to the area to relieve swelling if necessary. If you are prone to bruising, Arnica can be taken orally prior to treatment to reduce the risk of swelling/bruising (found at most nearby pharmacies). Arnica gel is applied post-treatment to promote rapid healing. How many sessions are needed will be determined by consultation. Results may take 4-6 weeks to become noticeable. Once desired effects are achieved it is recommended to maintain PRF every 12-18 months.

Appointment Time: 1 hour 30 minutes Price: Starting at $600

Patient Experience:

I have suffered from discoloration, acne scars, redness, and uneven skin tone. The PRF with Microneedling made my skin glow and in just a couple of weeks it was clear and even!

Two weeks before my treatment I stayed out of the sun and moisturized my face daily. I went to my appointment with a clean face. When I arrived, I was greeted and we went over all the risks and benefits, I was able to ask all my questions and was really excited to get started! Before the treatment, my skin was prepped with numbing cream and then sanitized. The Microneedling went fast but it was thorough, and it didn’t hurt much at all. The PRF dried on my face and it looked like I had a red face mask on, I was told that leaving it for the day would give me the best results, so I did! Afterwards my skin was fresh and hydrated, it scabbed for a few days and I protected it by staying out of the sun while it healed. Within about a week my skin was so smooth and glow-y! I’m also terrified of needles and Ashley did an amazing blood draw for my Microneedling treatment and made me very comfortable about the whole process!
