Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) Is extracted from blood and is similar to Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) used in the commonly known “Vampire Facial”. In our spa we use PRF because it contains more stem cells and healing properties, being more effective than PRP. The process involves no additives, only your own properties are used in PRF. Zero additives means less risk of irritation or reaction.
Once PRF is obtained via blood draw it is placed in a centrifuge to separate the blood products. The “Liquid Gold” (PRF) is transferred to a syringe where it is then used for immediate injection or microneedling.
